Kaylin's 1st Time on the Beach -- OC, NJ!
Kaylin had her very first beach adventure today. She seemed to really enjoy herself even though she started her visit off by choking on a mouthful of sand and then getting wiped out by an eight inch wave! She held a live starfish, delighted in the surf, and played in the sand with buckets and a shovel. Colin and I took Kaylin for a long walk down the beach in her Baby Bjorn. As we walked along, Kaylin checked it all out -- seagulls, people playing with dogs, kites flying, waves crashing. We even spotted "Santa Claus" on vacation! Santa stopped by to talk to Kaylin and "ho, ho, ho!" for her. Kaylin was very curious, but she wasn't so sure about his long white beard. All in all, Kaylin seemed to love the whole sandy adventure and Colin and I loved seeing her take it all in for the first time!
