I took Kaylin to Bright Oaks Pediatric Center today for her four month check up. To my astonishment my usually happy baby began to wail as soon as we entered the doctor's office. There is not a doubt in my mind that even though she hasn't been to that office in almost two months, she remembered it and knew she didn't like it there. Kaylin spent the entire 45 minutes that we were in the office screaming at the top of her lungs. The pediatrician had a really nice way of describing her behavior. He said, "My Miss Kaylin, aren't you an expressive little one?"
The good news is Kaylin is up to 15 pounds and 25.25 inches long! She is in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. With exception to a little bit of cradle cap on her scalp and heat rash around her neck, she is very healthy. The pediatrician recommended we start her on some rice cereal soon and that we work on trying to get her to sleep in her own crib, before she is able to craw out of her co-sleeper.
