I took Kaylin for her nine-month check with the pediatrician today. She weighed in at an impressive 20 pounds 4 ounces and 29.5 inches long. That puts her in the the 75th percentile for weight and the 90th percentile for height! Kaylin's head has really grown too. She has always had a tiny head with the circumference of her head ranking in the 5th percentile for all babies even though the rest of her was much bigger. Since her last check-up Kaylin's head has grown enough for her to move all the way up to the 50th percentile!
Kaylin screamed like a maniac while Dr. Rogers was looking her over . . . so much so that the doctor called her a drama queen! Luckily, she didn't have to get any shots at this visit, and as soon as I picked her back up off the table she instantly calmed down and started smiling and babbling away!
