Eighteen years ago today, I became a vegetarian, so this was my nineteenth vegetarian Thanksgiving!! Colin, Kaylin & I celebrated Thanksgiving at my parents' house where my mom prepared a delicious feast!
This year, as always, I am thankful for all of my wonderful family and friends. I am especially grateful this year to have Kaylin, my beautiful baby girl!
Kaylin enjoyed her first Thanksgiving and was very content having her Granny and Pop-Pop and lots of Aunts and Uncles to dote over her all afternoon and evening! She did her dance with froggy many times to both her own and everyone else’s delight! At dinner, Kaylin sampled the mashed potatoes, vegetarian stuffing, cranberry sauce, carrots, and cranberry juice. She liked all the "grown-up" food and was thrilled to sit at the table with everyone else! Kaylin's favorite part was the pumpkin pie that her Great-Great Aunt Joyce and Barbara Ann fed her! Kaylin couldn't seem to get enough pie!! I think she takes after her Uncle Dan the Pumpkin Pie Man!
