Holiday Update

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well and that each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Colin & I definitely did. We drove to Colin’s sister, Ann’s house in Pennsylvania last Saturday to celebrate Thanksgiving and our nephew Connor’s 3rd birthday. Then on Thanksgiving Day, we went to my parents’ house in Bel Air, where all my siblings and aunts and uncles were in attendance for another Thanksgiving celebration! We both enjoyed spending time with our families and having Thanksgiving dinner twice in one week! Yum!!

Colin & I have decided to name the baby Kaylin or maybe Kalyn. We’re not exactly sure how we’re going to spell it yet. No worries though, we still have sixteen weeks to decide. Kaylin and I are both healthy! In fact, I haven’t had any “morning” (translation all day) sickness in over a week! Kaylin is growing quickly! In the last week or so my belly seems to have doubled in size, and she has become quite the powerful kicker! It seems like she rarely sleeps. She’s just in there doing baby gymnastics all day and night! For those of you who braved the shopping on Black Friday, more power to you! I hope you found lots of great deals! I usually try to avoid Black Friday like the plague. No matter what kind of sales are going on, I have zero interest in getting up early to face swarms of people, crowded stores and crazy lines. Since I have no idea how I’ll be feeling or whether I’ll be able to fit down the aisles as Christmas draws closer, I started my Christmas shopping early this year. I still need to get a few more things, but I am happy to say that I am almost done! I think I may start writing out my Christmas cards today!
